I recalled hearing about the efforts made by actor Alexander Skarsgård to get in shape for his role in The Legend of Tarzan (2016). His dedication inspired me to think about a diet that

might match such a primal vibe. My early steps began with the "Tarzan diet", as it's been dubbed: Broccoli and chicken. Which he combined with lots of hard workouts, sadly not available on my menu as hemiparetic

My early steps began with the “Tarzan Diet,” as it’s been dubbed—broccoli and chicken. Though hard workouts are off the table for me due to my hemiparetic condition, I’ve embraced what I can: focusing on simplicity, intentionality, and a primal connection to food.


And let me tell you, I really got to master the art of frying boneless chicken thighs in the iron skillet. Achieving a perfectly crispy surface while keeping the inside juicy and tender? A skill to beproud of . The secret? Crank the stove to maximum heat, then fry using a mix of olive oil and butter.


Beware of the smoke and splatter ---- pray for a better kitchen fan


An iron skillet means business, and so should you. Keep a steady hand and embrace the sizzle! Flip them over now and then to avoid burning them too much.
