"Heartbreak doesn't just happen—it lingers, reshapes you, and leaves you questioning everything."





After a wonderful summer, filled with indulgent meals on far too many occasions,. The fall was destined for a more sober and restrained approach. And restrained it has been — but in a different manner than I had envisioned.


Those novel, delicious options had to come off the table, For a while lamenting what was gone. But soon enough, I reframed it as an opportunity: I will be grateful for this change when I’m through.

That's why you find this blog. I know I am not alone in finding oneself in such a place. By no means can I provide insights or guidance for all, but my intention is to share my process and reflections as another traveller in this life — we are billions of fellow homo sententis on this planet, perhaps my story resonates with someone else, In which case I'd find it deeply worth the effort.


And so, the meals changed—simpler, single portions, more intentional. The indulgences of the past gave way to something humbler but, in its own way, more meaningful. It wasn’t just the food itself, but the act of creating it, of choosing carefully, that mirrored a deeper shift within.

A shift both biological and mental, even touching personality.
